Cordoba includes several cities. Among the cities are Villa Maria, Cordoba, Cosquin, San Francisco, Jesus Maria and Rio Cuarto.

 

Cordoba began in 1573. Its founding father was Jeronimo Luis de Cabera. Cordoba honors Cordoba, Spain.

 

The Comechingones Indians once inhabited the area. The Society of Jesus established Cordoba’s university sometime in 1613.

 

Cordoba celebrates the Tango Festival and the Argentine Open.
